As children grow, one of the core elements of young learning is critical thinking. Solving problems, finding solutions and pieces of something to make it whole is what critical thinking is all about. Puzzles are a fun and fascinating way to get young learners comfortable with critical thinking and problem solving in general. Preschool age children (and Pre-K too) benefit greatly from putting a puzzle together and seeing the final result of their effort promotes confidence that any task, no matter how hard, can be achieved.
